A high speed police pursuit took place across Meepbay, Monday afternoon. A orange sedan was spotted traveling at a high rate of speed on the Meepbay Turnpike, when officers of the Meepbay Highway Patrol attempted to pull the car over. The car which was reported stolen out of Pennsylvania, continued along the Turnpike before joining the Cross Meepton Parkway. At that point speeds had reached 95+ and officers ahead decided to block off the Meepton River Bridge. The car did not stop upon approaching the blockade so officers fired at the car’s radiator, leaving it overheating on the westbound lanes of the road. The driver of the car was arrested but details are unknown at this time.
